The group was formed in 1968 and since then we have strived to support and offer free advice, information and support to companies and individuals who may have an interest in health, safety and environmental issues. Our seminars cover a wide range of subjects that are only available to our members. Here you will find a relaxed, comfortable environment but above all the opportunity to gain knowledge from a wide range of experts in every field of health and safety. We encourage the sharing of information where our committee members are always on hand to introduce new members and also to assist in any means to ensure everyone benefits from the days event. We hope you find this website of interest and look forward to seeing you at a seminar soon! ![]() Chairman's Introduction As usual it would only be fair and right to offer our gratitude to our members and committee for making 2010/2011 a successful year of seminars. A lot of unseen effort goes into the planning and preparation for such events. 2011/2012 will prove to be another testing financial year for businesses and we feel the value offered by the group for such a small cost will pay dividends to companies, even if the information gleaned prevents one incident in the workplace. Thus saving time and costs related to investigations, equipment changes/trials, and in the worst case fines and compensation claims. For 2011/2012 we have aimed for more variety and will now also strive to include environmental issues as this is becoming more and more appropriate to the workplace. As a group committee we are keen to recieve feedback from members, not only after each seminar but throughout the year should anyone have any thoughts they would like to be explored for the future. We would also like to see more members attend the AGM, (which is to be held at Exmed in Plough lane, Hereford), in order to have more influence on the plans for 2012/2013. Rob Arnold & David Baldwin |
